Key performance areas:

Increase the online presence of the Private Brands, which includes decision-making with the Brand Management team about the website, social media and online advertising
Manage and maintain internal stakeholder relations by ensuring close coordination between Brand Managers and customer care
Manage customer relations for the website and social media by engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
Social Media Content Responsibilities


Write, develop, and strategize for online content production and scheduling. Drive the development of social media content and implementation of paid media strategy
Ensuring social media content is regular, relevant and engaging. Ensuring that approaches to social media are relevant and appropriate for each medium
Working with Brand Managers and Marketing teams to look at ways social media can work within wider campaigns
Compile report for management showing results (ROI). Track metrics on audience, content, views and competitors
Manage and co-ordinate all sponsorships and competitions (on-line and other) whilst ensuring maximum branding opportunities for each
Identify new social trends and technologies

Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts
Monitor trends in Social Media and digital tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business
Interpret data and community conversations into actionable insights
Website management

Managing initiatives of the brand websites and content updates to sections on the websites
Regular content check across brand websites to ensure information is up to date
Ensure content is aligned with brand CI
Manage SEO and overall ranking of brand websites
Overseeing and maintain correct product on the site
Blog content management
To manage and control the budget required for the running of the web site
Compile report for management showing results (ROI). Track metrics on audience, content, views and competitors
Community management

Day-to-day website and social media community management, including: fan engagement and uploading content
Engaging with fans and customers to build relationships with the community and encourage engagement
All negative or potentially damaging queries need to be escalated within 2 hrs (if they have been posted between 8 am – 5 pm)
All negative or potentially damaging queries need to be escalated by 9 the next morning (if they have been posted after 5 pm the previous day)

Develop high quality copy that is easy-to-understand, audience appropriate and insight driven for user interfaces, social media, guides and training material
Define a consistent voice and tone for the Private Brands
Ensure accuracy and consistency across all written copy

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or relevant area)
2-3 years professional work experience (retail background an advantage)
Minimum 2 years-experience as a copywriter, social media coordinator or marketing coordinator
Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
Must have exceptional writing and grammatical skills, especially in online community environment
Must having a working knowledge of social media analytics and understand the various metrics
