The Innovation Hub is the first Science and Technology Park in Southern Africa, established to spur the growth of smart industries in Gauteng so as to create a truly 'smart' province. It is now offering the following opportunity to a competent and dedicated person to join a dynamic team in Pretoria East.

Reporting to Senior Manager, Skills Development, the incumbent will be responsible for the effective coordination and administration of youth development programmes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Skills development team to facilitate the smooth running and administration of youth development programmes. The role includes regular stakeholder and customer engagement duties that might occasionally be outside office hours.

The responsibilities include:

Programme administration: Develop and implement recruitment plan; Recruit suitable candidates in order to meet the programmes recruitment expectations; Administer and provide support on projects; Prepare documentation packs for distribution at meetings; Ensured proper record keeping of meetings with stakeholders; Ensured reporting of programme activities
Stakeholders database administration: Accurate recording of programme sponsors and stakeholders; Invoicing of sponsors and following up on payments; Accurate tracking of programme participants; Provide post-programme participation support.
Coordination of youth programme: Coordination of programme planning and implementation, including assessing needs, setting goals and objectives; Coordination of programme induction; initiate and organise training interventions to enhance team cohesion and communication, including industry-readiness sessions to be attended by programme participants; Coordination and facilitation of workplace exposure for programme participants; Coordination and facilitation of celebratory events (launch/year-end/graduation).
Programme participant support: Provide advice and guidance to participating graduates and/ or learners; Assist learners with general queries and ensure follow up; Coordination and facilitation of quarterly site visits with programme stakeholders
Programme Marketing: Provide support in the execution of skills development programme marketing plan.
Qualification, experience and skills requirement:

Matric / Grade 12, Bachelor’s Degree in PR/Communications/ Marketing/ Business Management/ Project Management , plus 1 to 3 years’ experience within a project management environment, strong administration capabilities, basic accounting skills and event coordination skills will be advantageous, plus strong organisational skills (able to coordinate various tasks and projects simultaneously), proficiency at an advanced level in MS office, project coordination skills; excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with proficiency in the English language, good report writing skills, time management skills; ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines as well as meticulous attention to detail with accuracy.
