A self-motivated, self-activated person who is passionate about enabling supply chain solutions through technology in both established and developing organisations. The focus would be on understanding business requirements, designing and delivering solutions within a structured product offering. An ideal candidate would have between 5-10 years of working experience with exposure to business analysis, system configuration, and project management within the supply chain solutions arena.

Business Process Understanding, and mapping to a System Process

Design and Documentation

Software Configuration and Demonstration

Appreciation and requirements understanding within the context of business processes within an organisation;

Contextually understand how the system process would enable (or improve) the business process;

Develop and document process and functional requirements aligned to project requirements;

Considerable emphasis on integration with other enterprise platforms, and effect on current business processes

Assist with and critically evaluate the configurations, both current and to-be;

Configure system according to requirements, including master data configuration;

Quickly configure a client demonstration / proof-of-concept, to assist with pre-sales activity

BSc Computer Science; BComm Information Systems or Information Technology;

BEng (Industrial, Electronic/Electric, Mechanical/Chemical);

· Project Management Courses

· SixSigma / Lean Courses Certficiation

· CSCP and other Supply Chain related training / certifications

Business Software Analysis – understanding the context of the business process, and mapping it a system process;
Technical Understanding and Experience – understanding and working with basic database commands (queries and scripts), with an appreciation of impact and reliance between various entities within a platform;
Software configuration;
Client-facing consulting – engage with client management, face-to-face and through regular communication channels (telephone, email);

Previous experience in a supply chain / logistics industry;
Affinity to software and technology
Client communication;
Client leadership;
Team leadership;
Project financial tracking;
Core Consulting Skills;
Advanced MS Office skill (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Access)
IT Literate
Advantageous skills and competencies:

Working exposure to project/delivery management approaches (Waterfall, Agile, SDLC);
Experience with integration frameworks and integration solution design
