Senior Consultant (Consulting / Advisory Public Private Partnerships (PPPs)
The Senior Consultant will deliver Management Consultancy services specifically in relation to PPPs in line with client and business objectives which will include being part of the delivery teams for at least the following service offerings - Transaction Advisory, SPV Advisory, and Lenderβs Technical Advisory.
To be specifically responsible for delegated business development/marketing tasks.
To contribute to the overall strategic and operational management of the Unit.
Manage commissions under your control to meet client and business objectives. Ensure commissions under your control and any constituent staff members are effectively managed to:
Optimise staff utilisation
Reflect target profit projection
Identify any variation in fee income projection
Deliver the skills necessary to meet technical objectives for the commission
Comply with Business Management System (BMS) requirements. BMS compliance - review Commission Execution (CEP) on all commissions under your control to ensure BMS compliance
Comply with T&T risk management processes
Comply with Risk mitigation measures defined in the CEP
Reflect client feedback on service delivery
Ensure commercial contracts commissions under your control are in place with all clients/sub-consultants in line with Group policy
Support the development of allocated sector/ service/client Marketing Action Plans
Ensure the Marketing Database is regularly updated
Provide and update contact and lead information for incorporation onto the Database
Secure Client Care meetings with relevant clients on your Commission
Support Group marketing initiatives
Update the Project Database
Disseminate Best Practice
Experience in delivering PPP projects in line with National Treasury Regulation (NT) 16 and the NT practice notices
Relevant technical degree (built environment) and management qualifications
8 - 10 years working experience preferably on projects or programmes across diverse sectors (real estate, infrastructure and including the private and public sector). Previous experience in Public Private Partnerships and alternative procurement is a must
Excellent Project Management and coordination skills of complex project teams
Experience in feasibility studies / business case development will be advantageous
Experience in the built environment and specifically facility management will be advantageous
Excellent analytical problem solving ability
Experience of working within the broader African market will be advantageous
Excellent MS Office skills (including MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Visio) is a must
The ability to 'win' clients through strong business development skills and develop client relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication is a must
