Excellent opportunity for an experienced, driven and ambitious Sales Representative. Our client, a distributor of a leading global brand of workplace hygiene products, is looking to secure the services of a representative with a minimum of 3 years’ related sales experience within the DISTRIBUTION industry along with a proven sales track record.

This is a fantastic opportunity in terms of a flexible and lucrative recurring commission structure, as well as possible growth opportunities within the company. Comprehensive product training will be provided.

The successful candidate must have the ability to liaise with clients at all levels up to director level.

Requirements

Grade 12, relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage.
2 to 5 years business development or sales experience.
Experience in the distribution industry would be an advantage.
Proven sales track record.
Computer literacy (MS Office).
Fluent in Afrikaans and English.

Valid driver’s license and own transport.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, marketing and negotiation skills.
Self-motivator and self-starter.
Persuasiveness and selling ability.
Strong achievement orientation.
Contactable references.
Responsibilities

Achieve annual sales budget through management of existing business, new business development by market analysis and customer assessment.
Introduce, promote and sell the company’s products to customers by regular visits to build and maintain good relationships and obtain market information.
Be the first contact between the company and the potential customers.
Cold Call and establish appointments with potential customers.
Present proposed solutions to our Customers.
Work accordingly to the sales and buyer cycle.
Compile monthly reports on all sales activities.
Monitor financial targets due to performance.
Monitor and manage customer call ratios that need to be achieved.
Ensure timely delivery and good customer service by co-coordinating with all other departments.
Responsible for customer after sales service.
Remuneration



R10k – R15k basic pm, depending on experience.
Flexible commission structure after probationary period.
Telephone allowance.
Travel allowance.
Flexible working hours.
