Sales Manager-Auto and General
An exciting opportunity exist for a Direct Sales Manager for Auto and General Insurance. The successful applicant will be responsible for achieving the operational sales goals by managing and coaching a team of sales consultants.

The main deliverables are;
The achievement of team operational sales results (e.g. P-Factor, conversion, closing) in line with the required key performance indicators through analysing, interpreting and providing feedback on sales data, enabling planning and contribute to the organisations sales strategy.
Performance management and coaching of employees.
Build a high performance culture that contributes to the overall organisational goals.
Implement tactical and operational plans by leading the team and apply the relevant procedures to contribute to revenue growth and delivering against business goals.
Effectively develop, maintain and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and Auto and General In customers.
Ensure customers are retained by providing and quality service standard.
Responsible for all aspects of staff resourcing, succession planning,
management and development, ensuring the right people are in place to support
service delivery, achieving production and performance targets at all times.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
Level of Education:
Essential:
Grade 12 (Standard 10) or equivalent
The relevant FAIS accreditation as required by FSB regulations
Desirable:
A relevant 3 year Business related degree / diploma
Experience:
Essential:
At least 3 β 5 yearsβ work experience in :
Call centre supervision (preferable in the Short Term or Long Term Insurance Industry, depending on the post).
General sales management experience (preferable in the Short Term or Long Term Insurance Industry, depending on the post).
People Management experience
Knowledge of:

Sales Management principles
Short term or Long term insurance industry (depending on the post)
