Revenue, Sales & Marketing Manager – Cape Town



5 star property in Cape Town is seeking to employ a Revenue, Sales & Marketing Manager to join their team, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established team. Ideally the successful candidate will come from a travel / tourism and or hospitality background and have solid experience in sales and marketing



Primary responsibilities, but not limited to:



To develop and manage the Revenue, Sales and Marketing budget

To ensure the Hotel achieves the monthly budgeted Revenues and targets
Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports and forecasts are up to date
Manage the Reservations & Sales Department, advising on best practises and daily rates
Executes annual Marketing plan to budget, in consultation with the GM and Financial manager
Compiling and distributing the contracted rates for all Market Segments
Identifying Agents & Operators not currently delivering with the Sales team and implement strategies to increase the business
Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales for the Hotel and restaurant
Developing relations with key STO and OTA partners and growing high revenue potential business
Develop a strategy with the focus on increasing direct website traffic and bookings.
Traveling to both local and international trade shows.
Manage the hotel social media accounts
Develop a strategy with the PR Company for maximum exposure for On and Off-line marketing


Requirements:



Working knowledge of Opera
Valid drivers and own transport – Essential


Salary – Negotiable depending on experience
