A vacancy exists for a Retail Centre Supervisor based in Kathu, reporting to the Centres Coordinator. The purpose of this role is to effectively manage staff, administrative and technical processes of the Sales Centre to ensure delivery of superior customer service and the achievement of sales and profit margin targets.
Minimum Requirements...
Knowledge and skills required:
A minimum of a Matric qualification or NQF4 qualification in wholesale and retail is preferable with several years sales experience
Knowledge of Afrox products, procedures and systems
Experience in retail management would be a distinct advantage
Strong sales, customer service, people management and business management skills are essential
A self-motivated & detailed orientated person, with excellent interpersonal and strong administrative skills
Computer literacy
Code 08 valid Drivers Licence

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Set and manage sales targets
Service customers professionally and promptly
Engage effective retail selling skills to optimise sales
Develop and manage staff to apply effective customer service and retail selling skills
Co-operate with Sales Reps to achieve sales growth targets
Implement sales promotion plans
Maintain the image of the Centre to the pre-determined standard at all times
Demonstrate visible leadership qualities
Ensure that professionalism is a key factor when dealing with customers and staff
Apply merchandising and display techniques consistently
Manage overheads and costs effectively to ensure profitability
Champion all the company's SHEQ programmes
Provide a strong culture of adherence to security and Company procedures
Maintain good disciplines with inventory to minimize losses
Manage staff by ensuring that all HR policies are adhered to
Assist with loading and off-loading of customer cylinders
The successful candidates will be required to do emergency deliveries
