Reservations Receptionist

A well established Guest Lodge in George is currently looking for a Receptionist.

Your duties will include and is not limited to the following:

Answering of phone calls
Answering of emails
Making reservations
Checking in and out of guests
Servicing guest requests
Sending invoices to the correct contact person on the day of departure
Checking and ordering of stock for breakfast and rooms
Keeping a clean and neat working environment and reception area
Additional requirements:

You must be able to speak, read and write English and Afrikaans fluently – you must be able to communicate to guests in the language in which they speak to you (telephonically, via email or in person)
Must be able to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues as well as guests
Must be hard working and driven, passionate about people
You must be friendly, well mannered, well spoken and well presented – you will be the first face that guests see when they arrive, and you must be able to present the Lodge in a friendly, professional manner
You must be willing to go above and beyond to meet requirements of your employer and guests
Good computer skills will be an advantage, you will receive training as well.
