Minimum Qualification:

FGASA Level 2 /CATHSSETA NQF4
Legal Fire Arms Competency for business use Certificate
Full Trails Guide Qualification
Valid First Aid certificate
PDP Drivers License
DEAT registered.


Key Performance Areas of this position include but are not limited to:

Responsible for all guest related activities relating to the orientation and also interpretation of ecosystems, animal behaviour and cultural heritage of this area – offering a holistic interpreted experience of the reserves history, conservation strategy, current and future projects, ecosystem components, regional geology and vegetation component.

Game drive and walks planning and execution.
Hosting of guests for Breakfast/Dinners depending on guests needs.
Assist with Transfers.
Maintenance of your equipment.
Lodge Rangers Stock Control.
Monitor visitors' activities to ensure compliance with establishment or tour regulations and safety practices.
Competencies Required:

Comprehensive knowledge of guiding in a Dangerous Game environment.
Advance Rifle Handling
Knowledge of Arid regions an advantage
Physically fit, Sober habits and in good health.
Neat and presentable with a welcoming personality.
