Job Summary

Weld all assembled metal components in accordance to the customer specification and drawings

Responsibilities and Duties

Weld all assembled parts according to the drawing and to the customer’s specifications.
Make sure that your machine is set up correctly so that it does not cause any welding defects on the part.
Do minor assembly and grinding work on parts if it is necessary.
Return all empty gas cylinders to the gas store whenever you are changing cylinders on your machine.
Report all shortages; that are supplied to you or that may occur at your station; immediately to your supervisor.
Report any damaged or broken equipment to your supervisor immediately.

Keep your work area clean and free of obstructions.
Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations set out by this company.
Follow all welding procedures if any has been put into place for a specific job.
Qualifications and Skills

Relevant experience
Understand and apply welding techniques
Operate welding equipment with skill
2-5 years’ experience incl trade test
