Project Planner-Green Marble Recruitment

Reporting to the Planning Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for covering the planning, scheduling, releasing and tracking of workflow of the project.

Requirements:

Preferably a suitable tertiary qualification.
At least 1-2 years experience in planning/scheduling on construction projects.
Planning and scheduling Certification will be highly beneficial.
Project Management and Primavera P6 Certification.
Ability to modulate with a dynamic workload: From heavy multi-tasking during peak workloads to very focused, detail-orientated work during critical project variances.
Strong project management, organisational and communication skills are required.
Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
Exceptionally high level of commitment to the success of and overall project.
Work ethics that complement Company's long standing culture of high integrity.
Willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed.

Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Projects software essential).
Description:

Develop and define project goals and objectives.
Lead development of baseline schedule and support Project Manager (PM) in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR).
Monitor and analyse project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools.
Identify and record changes in work scope in the project plan.
Ensure to take appropriate planning measures with all stakeholders to reassess, renegotiate and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts and budgets.
Evaluate and analyse with team risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them.
Co-ordinate with Project Contracts Managers and suppliers to sequence assembly and installation.
Compile Gantt Charts, network flow diagrams etc.
