The role will report to the production manager or his/her nominee. The more important criteria for the appointment is set out below and although not exhaustive, would serve as a guideline in assessing prospective candidates:

Key performance areas for this role include but are not limited to:
Schedule voice artist and other talent for recording time in the studio as well as any follow-up time for corrections or adjustments
Order, reserve or rent equipment needed to complete a production or increase production value for a particular campaign
Assist in set design, script rewrites and other tasks assigned to you by the producer or director
Create, evaluate and oversee the budget for each production, ensuring we never exceed it
Suggest creative or practical changes to scripts or storyboards to help improve production value and save money
Manage relevant schedules to ensure maximum time management value
In addition, the following job competencies and attributes would be important:
Strong decision-making ability;
Good attitude and excellent interpersonal skills;
Self-motivated with a high work ethic, ability to solve problems and dependable;
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) including ability to communicate with people at all levels;

Ability to plan, organise and work effectively on own and as part of a team; and
Ability to work under pressure and handle stress;

Requirements
Experience:
Relevant degree or diploma;
Computer literate with MS Office and Chase;
Two years’ agency experience as a production coordinator;
Promo’s environment experience would be ideal; and
Drivers licence.
Skills:
Experience working with high profile and large projects;
Negotiation skills;
Ability to understand the challenge and learn quickly;
Ability to work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines;
Project management skills; and
Dynamic and enthusiastic.
