A leading financial services provider, is seeking a Product Specialist to provide input to the multi manager team across numerous areas including fund research, client servicing and sales support, reporting and oversight of fund management process. The successful incumbent will grow assets under management and achieve the required investment return objectives.
Be knowledgeable in the digital space and have ability to assist with the development of our digital capability and offerings
Oversee fund fact sheet outputs. Ensure that the funds offered to clients are appropriate through understanding of markets requirements
Be a confident presenter and have the skill and ability to convey thoughts and positions in an easy and understandable manner
Communicate fund performance and positioning to the company's Financial Planners, the company's Private Wealth Bankers, IFA's, Asset Consultants, pension fund clients and any existing investors across the funds


Ensure timely production of reporting material by gathering and presenting relevant information. This will include the ability to automate as much of the processes as possible
Develop improved digital offerings to clients - via mobile app, websites, technology in general as well as automation of processes
Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values by reviewing the company's and Business Unit Plan and ensuring delivered systems, process, services and solutions are aligned
Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management
Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction
Obtain buy-in for developing new and / or enhanced processes (e.g. operational processes) that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses by highlighting benefits in support of the implementation of recommendations
Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in the company's culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc)
Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy (e.g. Green Strategy)
Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to the company
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Advanced Diplomas / National 1st Degrees
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and post graduate degree in Finance and Economics
2-4 years' experience in similar or related role
Party systems proficiency (e.g. MorningStar / I Net)
