Client based in Pretoria need a Plant Manager: Retread and Brakes
JOB OUTPUTS
Responsible for managing the tyre retread plant; brake reline plant; rim powder coating plant and the upholstery plant.
Adhere to production budget, minimise material shrinkage, stock control and maintain quality/ safety in the work place.
Control logistics related to collection and delivery of goods
Compile daily production reports
Maintenance of machinery
Liaison with suppliers
Ensure housekeeping is kept at acceptable levels
Quality inspection
Conduct regular tool inspections

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 or N3 Technical Course
Qualified Artisan (Mechanical, Electrical or Machinist)
The candidate should ideally have managed a retread and brake refurbishment factory with at least 8 to 10 practical experience. Experience in powder coating and upholstery work would be an added advantage.
Experience in plant maintenance and repair is essential.
