An established food processing company requires the above to oversee the full weekly payroll function at all the company sites, including the supervision of wage clerks.
Minimum requirements for the role:
Admin related tertiary qualifications is essential.
Previous payroll management experience is essential.
Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must have knowledge of employee tax, WCA, SDL, and UIF.
Ability to perform payroll related reconciliations is essential.
Must have knowledge of a time and attendance system.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing payments and receipts as well as preparing invoices and statements on a monthly basis.
Monitoring and recording employees leave and reporting to HR.
Reconciling any third-party payments.
Overseeing payroll administration and reconciling of medical aid and pension payments as well as pulling statements.
Overseeing and maintaining salary journals on monthly basis.
Reconciling balance sheet payroll accounts.
Compiling business intelligence reports.
Ensuring compliance and meeting legislative requirements are met.
Submitting UIF and E-filing online and preparing all tax certificates.
Managing and responding to all payroll related queries when required to do so.
Submitting WCA returns on yearly basis.
Salary package, including benefits, are negotiable depending on experience gained.
