We will be looking to recruit a Parts Controller in a busy panel beating shop who will be responsible to manage the parts ordering and returns process for the body shop.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assess parts and order additional parts as required for the vehicle

Take pictures of the parts once the vehicle has been stripped
Determine if parts can be replaced or repaired and feedback
Obtain prices for parts and load onto system
Forward the list of parts ordered including additionals to the insurance company and assessors
2. Order the parts from different suppliers

Order the parts from the different suppliers ensuring that the correct part has been ordered as descriptions vary per supplier
Do a visual inspection of parts received

3. Deal with insurance companies and assessors for approvals

Be accurate on parts ordered to ensure that no penalties are imposed by the Insurer for performance on parts ordered
