Our client in the financial sector has an opportunity for a Call Centre Consultant in their Audit & Tax department. The incumbent will be responsible for marketing and to develop and maintain relationships with established or potential targeted Clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage large amounts of outbound calls in a timely manner
Follow communication scripts when speaking to potential clients
Keep records of all conversations in the call centre database in a comprehensible way
Meet personal quantitative targets
Identify and overcome objections
Possess strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate very effectively
Persuade potential customers to accept a face to face appointment with the Audit & Tax department
Strong telephone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types


Skilled in finding and researching for new leads via the internet & social media
Proficient Afrikaans speaker (non-negotiable) and English speaker
Identifying potential clients for financial audits and potential tax recoveries
Gain an in depth understanding of the current performance and growth and priorities issues and identify and action potential course of action to reach more clients
Build relationships with established clients through proactive targeting and or in response to screened inquiries or third-party referrals
Use all platforms to identify and subsequently market the brand to potential clients
Carry out a holistic analysis of the business to gain an in depth understanding of its current performance and potential for growth, priorities issues and identify potential courses of action, ensuring throughout the process new clients are reached
Assist with marketing / Strategic marketing
Cold calling of potential clients
Acting as client relations agent with clients to find out how they rate services rendered
Keep client information up to date on the database
Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and other Key Performance areas
Educate potential clients on specific process and services related to product
Qualifying and converting leads to sales on a daily basis
Liaise with clients in a highly professional manner
Minimum Qualifications:

Grade 12 with numerical ability and PC Literacy

A diploma will be an added advantage OR comparable experience in a Call Centre

Minimum Experience:

Exposure to a call centre environment
Experience with cold calling on a daily basis
Behaviour Proficiencies:

Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans & English
Attention to detail
Deadline driven
Passionate about marketing
Someone who takes initiative
Salary: R 8 000.00 - R 15 000.00 per month, Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience. The commission structure will be based on appointments booked & conducted by Client's Audit & Tax team.
