Order Processing Clerk

Job Description:
The ordering processing clerk is responsible for processing customer orders telephonically and by email after the order is placed online ensuring all customers orders are dealt with efficiently and accurately. Must be excellent on the phone and have excellent computer literacy.
Duties include:
Accurately capture orders from customers and follow up on deliveries
Check and overcome all potential issues with the order i.e. incoming stock after their requested delivery date, advise customer when no stock is available to allocate and possible delivery issues to address
Make contact by phone or email with customers within 2 hours of a confirmed order
Confirm with the customers if their order quantities are correct
Confirm delivery details; date and address
Record all call/email/notes to orders with details of the customer communication
Assist customers with amending orders
Assist customers with creating returns and talk them through that process
Log quality issues on the system and with courier companies re complaints of any post-order issues
Re-issue invoices when necessary
Assist with general admin duties
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: R8,500.00 to R10,000.00 /month
Experience:
Administration Clerk: 4 years (Preferred)
customers service: 4 years (Preferred)
Education:
