Qualifications Essential

•Linux •Grade 12 qualification
Experience Essential
•(3 years) Experience in Linux server management and implementation
•Troubleshooting and maintaining hardware issues
Desirable
•Desktop and laptop PCs.
•Installing software, patches, updates on Desktops, Laptops and Servers.
•Troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems.
Knowledge Essential
•Linux and network experience
Desirable
•Networking & VPN Networks
RDMS (Relational Database Management System
•Python
Active directory
•Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows and Servers.
Skills Essential

Job objectives - Planning and implementation of IT solutions/services
- Maintenance and administration of IT infrastructure which includes WAN/LAN, servers, virtualization and desktop
- End user support to Head Office and Divisional Offices
- Administration of user accounts in an Active Directory and Linux environment
- Implementation and maintaining IT Continuity Plan which includes daily backups, maintain documentation and failure testing.
