The core functions of this position are to perform all property marketing and administration functions to ensure that assigned properties are appropriately marketed, maintained and developed. The successful candidate must be able to interact with tenants and service providers.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly property performance and operational reports.
Collect all turnover figures by stipulated date – follow up with tenants if not received.
Prepare daily foot count reports with a comparison to the previous period.
Arrange Site visits and Show vacant stores to prospective tenants in conjunction with center manager
Conduct regular inspection of the center to ensure advertising relevant and current.
Work closely with Property Marketer and assist with requesting quotations for various services required in respect of events taking place at the center.
Assist with administration of events at center
Ensure all décor, branding and advertising is in place for various events – supervise service providers appointed
Ensure in-centre competitions are managed and administered appropriately
Food Court Booking: Handle all court rental application and ensure promotions are acceptable and adhere to centre rules. Obtain approval from the owner, request invoices and follow up on payments before promotions. Ensure that promotions are only done for the period approved and that promoter leaves the centre with all promotional material after
Arrange marketing meetings with new tenants to advise them of marketing offerings for the centre
Feedback to Property Marketer on recent events for inclusion in the monthly tenant letter
Assist with delivery on monthly tenant letters to all tenants
Liaise with tenants for various specials to be advertised on centres Facebook page
Understand the market in which the centre is located. A familiarity with which retail outlets will experience success within the shopping center will ultimately contribute to the success of the centre
Conduct monthly inspections of competitor stores to identify specials – compile reports and share with Property Marketer
Regularly meet with Property Marketer to discuss, inter alia, footfall, upcoming events, competitor specials, Database updates, wifi registration etc.
Oversee, in conjunction with Property Marketer, the Wifi offering at the centre – maintain registration database and share with Property Marketer on a weekly basis. Report any errors to Property Marketer
Ensure tenants shop fronts (windows and floors) are clean and conforms with centre standards
Ensure that tenant advertising is in line with centre standards
Attend to and manage tenant walk ins and calls received at centre management office

Minimum qualifications - Property administration or management diploma.
Additional qualification preferred – B Comm
Preference for candidates with 3 -5 years property administration experience.
Working knowledge of property management software preferably MDA
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Candidate must be pro-active and results oriented.
A proven ability to build strong client/tenant relationships.
Strong Administrative skills

Able to show initiative.
