Logistics Co-ordinator

Large Automotive Supplier is seeking a highly experienced Logistics Co-ordinator. Working experience on SAP is essential.

Responsibilities

Insert customer data into SAP and ensure customer and supplier information in updated promptly
Ensure accuracy of the MRP and amend errors
Send releases/call-offs to suppliers and track on time delivery of materials
Conduct SC Master Data quality checks in the responsible area
Advise production on daily customer requests i.e. quantity and packaging
Operate the sequence planning of multiproduct machines
Ensure capacity planning for production lines are accurate
Verify and manage material availability for customer releases/call-offs and avoid material shortages
Make suggestions to reduce working capital (work in process material)
Coordinate subcontracting processes

Conduct inventory spot checks
Complete shipping documents, invoices and customs documents
Order service provider (transport)
Post incoming and outgoing goods
Use customer portals accurately
Liaise with departments to ensure compliance clearing
Manage cycle counts and post in line with production analysis
Minimum Requirements

Matric with Diploma/Degree in Logistics or related field
SAP knowledge
Minimum 3 years automotive component manufacturing experience within heavy engineering
Excellent computer skills with intermediate to advanced Excel
Must be analytical
Must be able to work under pressure
