Manufacturing Meat plant seeks a senior logistics & import coordinator. Strengths must be Imports and shipping.


The duties include:

Completion of all shipping documents accurately & timeously.
Full import function.
Complete handling of the logistics
Liasing with shipping agents & the cold store
Booking of transport
Negotiate rates for transport


Manage fleet of vehicles:

Ensure vehicles are registered and licensed
Investigate traffic fines
Oversee Vehicle maintenance and service
Perform daily vehicle inspections
Report all faults to the CEO
Manage daily distribution routes
Ensure route sheets are strictly adhered too
Manage C-Track
Ensure safety standards are adhered too


Requirements:

Matric
Own reliable transport
Minimum of 2 years logistics and import experience in the meat industry
Ability to multi task and negotiate
Ability to work under pressure
Computer experience – an advantage if has knowledge of pastel evolution
