If so, this could be a great role for you working as part of the Unilever South Africa Learning team which is on a transformation journey to deliver fantastic learning experiences for all our Leaders and employees in a dynamic and changing world.
The incumbent will focus on establishing the local leadership, professional and business skills programs and operations for Unilever South Africa, and to work with the country HR Business Partners for the purposes of collecting and deploying learning initiatives. They will also be required to set up learning systems and processes, which will enable the tracking and management of all learning programmes for BBBEE reporting purposes, as well as internal analytics.

This role will work with the Africa and Global Learning team, as well as internal customers in other Learning, HR and business teams. The successful candidate will work with local and global suppliers to roll out leadership skills, business skills and professional skills (covering all department). It will also require managing the expectations of various stakeholders across other geographies for any given programme, under tight timeframes with high visibility.
Coordinating, Implementing, Evaluating and Improving leadership, professional and general skills programme offerings for Unilever South Africa
Leading processes and systems related to programme operations, for example: impact measurement; BBBEE reporting; vendor evaluation and follow-up/ongoing support to participants

JOB SUMMARY:
Deployment of Learning - All South Africa based Learning Activities
Tracking, analysis and reporting of all learning activities in South Africa
Local Leadership and Professional Skills - Learning Demand Plan Activation and Scheduling: partner the HR Business Partners and Functional Business Leaders on the bottom up led and top down validated local leadership and professional skills demand plan. Thereafter be responsible for translating the demand plan into annual calendar for the local team, as well as execution and deployment of the plan.
Work as part of an Africa and Global Community of Learning Professionals
Learning Program Design and Evaluation: Actively co-create learning programs with business partners, contributing and developing capabilities on learning program conceptualization and design.
Coordination linked BBBEE requirement.
Consolidate Talent Corporate plan in partnership with HRBPโ€™s
Consolidate Functional development plans.


KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree
Influencing others (especially those more senior and not reporting to you). The influencing skills to manage others who do not directly report to you is a key focus in this role โ€“ ensuring that you deliver the learning priorities you need to with the help of others who may have competing time priorities.
Networking. The individual needs to be active in networking and keep those networks growing (internally and externally), as they will help to drive quicker and better-quality delivery of learning and learn of thought leadership and experiential learning opportunities available to incorporate into our learning programmes, and deliver solutions in the most cost-effective way, understanding the different options of creating and delivering content that are available.

A strong and self-confident leadership and influencing style, being able to make an immediate impact with stakeholders
Demonstrated project/process management ability, able to embrace and contribute through new ways of working

Savvy with IT/Finance/Learning systems and platforms โ€“ Ariba/Degreed/Cornerstone/Workday
Events staging/management
Customer focus โ€“ proactively finds ways to exceed customer needs
