Leader in the Scaffolding Industry Requires an Experienced Operations Manager

Kindly note that a vacancy has presented itself within the operations department at a leading company within the Scaffolding industry. Posch Scaffolding, Painting and Insulation CC has had over 28 years of successful operational functionality. The successful incumbent will have the following:
-5 years or more of experience at a managerial level (Scaffolding managerial experience will be beneficial)
-Bachelor of Commerce Degree with majors in one of more of the following:
-Operations Management
-Supply Chain
-Procurement
-Business Administration
-Business Finance
-Accounting/ Economics/ Taxation/ Managerial Accounting and finance (MAF)
(Honours or Masters/ MBA/MBL Qualifications are beneficial)

Liaising with other team members, including interacting with managers of various areas of the organization, presenting findings to stakeholders and higher management in addition to training and supervising new employees and tracking and measuring staff performance will be required. Managerial expertise, high levels of organizational skills, efficiency, the capacity to function under pressure as well as analytical skills are essential.

The following are additionally essential:

- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point and Outlook.
-Capacity to generate quotations
- Capacity to liaise with both existing and new cliental
- Capacity to maintain and procure cliental.
Negotiable Salary

Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Planning and controlling operational functionality.
-Managing quality assurance programmes.
-Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.
-Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost.
-Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and facility layout.
