Junior IT Technician (in-house) Durban

Do you have 1-3 years IT Desktop Support experience? Are you A+ and N+ certified? Are you in process of completing or have completed MCSE or MCITP?

Small but well established company with great family type environment and lovely client base is seeking an in-house Technician to provide remote support to their client base.

Windows 7 support experience
1 - 3 years’ IT support experience (Minimum)
Remote Desktop Support experience (Beneficial)
Experience with Windows 7, Office, Printing and Anti-Virus
Exchange 2010 experience (beneficial)
Knowledge of workstation hardware and software and associated peripherals (Beneficial)
Experience with formatting and reloading of Desktops and Laptops
Knowledge of Windows Server basic support (File and Print, DNS, DHCP, Shares, Permissions) - beneficial

Experience with creating new user accounts and mailboxes on Exchange and Active Directory (Preferred)
Switching and Wireless knowledge (Beneficial)
Team player
Able to liaise with clients
Problem solver and a good communicator
Must be organised and willing to learn
Position is 90% remote support, but technician must be willing to travel to client site on occasion, when required
Required:

Matric (Not Negotiable)
A+ and N+ certified (Not Negotiable)
Studying towards or have completed MCITP / MCSE (Required)
Own vehicle essential (work vehicle available if you ever need to pop out to a client)
Must have good knowledge and experience of AD and Exchange
Must be presentable, professional and able to provide excellent client service
Great communication skills (written and verbal)
Must be reliable and committed (no job hoppers)
Market related salary on offer
