Job Purpose
The Internal Sales Co-ordinator is responsible for placement, securing and facilitating of group bookings

Education
Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent

Relevant qualification in Hotel Management

Experience:
1 to 2 years in Hospitality / Events / Sales.

Skills and Knowledge
Knowledge / skills in the following areas would be advantageous:

Business policies, procedures and processes
Hospitality industry in general
In-house systems
Product knowledge
Key Performance Areas:
CUSTOMER

Guest Service:

24 hour response times adhered to
Expectations met or exceeded
Service standards are met or exceeded
Service offering meets consumer demand
Services/ facilities have been explained to meet guest needs
OPERATIONS

Proposals:

Inventory is available as per proposal
All clients requests have been addressed
Accuracy and completeness of information provided (including additional information e.g. refurbishments)
Company templates and branding standards have been contextualized to client requirements
Writing conventions have been used correctly (spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc)
Bookings:

Inventory checked for availability
Accuracy and completeness of booking request form as per department standards
Venues and internal activities have been booked as per client requirements and department standards
Confirmations:

Company templates and branding standards have been contextualized to client requirements
Writing conventions have been used correctly (spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc)
Accuracy and completeness of information provided as per client€™s request (and adjustments to proposal)
Office Administration:

Deadlines managed as per SOP
Cancellation procedures are adhered to
Files meet neccessary requirements
Inventory Management:

Maximum utilisation of resources
Business is placed to benefit the organisation
Equity:
Preference will be given to employees from the designated groups in line with the provisions of the Employment Equity Act, No. 55 of 1998, SISA internal recruitment policy as well as units employment equity plans.
