The role is focused on providing quotations on new commercial lines business based on requests from Brokers. Consultant will be responsible for conversion of new business. The role is not limited to providing quotations through an e-mail channel and includes the ability to handle quotations and enquiries through telephony channel. It further includes the ability to handle the segmentation of business through and segmentation and distribution process.

Responsibilities include:

To provide quotations to new business
To provide quotations on amendment request to new business
To handle enquiries and provide quotations through telephony channel
To discuss and accept risk(policies) based on quotations provided
To adhere to the underwriting criteria and CRM process
To oversee the quotation process of the clients Commercial Business which includes issuance of new policies and handling amendments of existing quotes
To segment and distribute quotations request through CRM Channel
Candidate Requirements
Grade 12
Relevant insurance qualification will be an advantage

Minimum 2 years' experience in a short-term insurance commercial line will be an advantage
60 FAIS credit (commercial line) - recommended
Experience in Commercial Sales Policy Administration and Underwriting will be an advantage
Credit and Crim clear
SKILLS
