Description
Key Performance Areas:

Team Position: ICT Service Delivery Manager

You will report to the CEO and be responsible for all service, projects and engineering activities in the company, this will include the project team, engineering team as well as the service delivery team.



The projects team execute telecoms projects which are managed by internal project manager and delivered using 3rd party contracted resources.



The Service team manage different satellite access platforms and deliver services to enterprise and business customers as per on-going service agreements.



The Engineer team is responsible for design of new solutions, improving the current platforms as well as 3rd level support for different satellite access platforms and deliver services internally as well as enterprise and business customers.



You will be required to travel outside the borders of South Africa from time to time.



Duties & responsibilities:

Business Management

Manage and report monthly operational revenue schedules and be responsible to reach operational profit targets.
HR Management of all project and services personnel.


Project Management

Customer liaison and project progress meetings with the internal project managers.
Manage and lead the individual project managers to secure successful completion of the key project areas i.e.
Financial results
Technical working
On time delivery
Include supplier management, delivery delays, customer out-of-scope requests and dealing with client escalations.


Service Delivery Management

You will be responsible to ensure continued customer service and service delivery to all customers which are mostly enterprise sector.
Prepare, submit and discuss monthly SLA reports and customer meetings.
Customer coordination and key point of contact.
Supplier and service level management.


Key Activities

Service Delivery

Monitors and reports on service delivery metrics and overall performance.
Coordinates planned changes with customer service, change management and operations.
Maintains relationships with technical teams, business partners and other clients.
Communicates on major service outages/escalations.
Develops and manages the service level agreements for all customers/suppliers etc.
Manages service objectives as per SLA.
Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, logistics and management.
SLA contract negotiations.


Project Management

Plan all operation projects.
Resource all projects.
Implement the projects.
Control and Monitor as per the plan.


Engineering Management

Lead the Engineering team.
Design and contribute towards engineering baselines.
Research and development on new solutions.
Control and Monitor engineering process.
Profile
A relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent engineering.
Electronic technology experience and knowledge 5 + years of experience and/or as an Operations Manager/Service Delivery Manager and a Project Manager.
Experience in a telecommunications environment is an advantageous.
Solid knowledge and experience in a project management and service delivery processes/techniques.
