Key Responsibilities:
• Leading and developing the local HR team to provide support to Management and
employees of the the best HR practice
• To build a strong relationship with the recognised Trade Union and consult as
appropriate
• To advise and support Management Team and Line Managers in the effective
implementation of the best HR practice
• To lead the Plant Management Team on key organisational and development issues.
• Ensure targets are met for Absence/Accident/Headcount and detail these as part of
weekly reviews
• Develop new HR initiatives to support the business strategy
• Develop and sustain a company wide best practice, integrated business system (TS16949)
• Te review, develop and implement policies and procedures for the recruitment,
selection, induction and retention of staff
• To facilitate and monitor staff appraisal system and make recommendations for
change in line with best practice
• To coordinate training and development activities within the plant
• Facilitate Joint Works and Health and Safety meetings
• Ensure the Company‘s policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and provide assistance and support when required to Management and Line Managers
• Carry out disciplinary/grievance activities
• Update and maintain all personnel files
• Carry out Absence Management policies and procedures
• To lead all Recruitment or Redundancy programs
• Dealing with employee claims and relevant meetings/documentation
• Lead the involvement of Occupational Health when the business need occurs

Qualifications:
• Candidates will have CIPD qualification and be educated to degree level within the field of Human Resources or similar
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a HR Management role
• Competent and experienced within a high-volume automotive environment
• Proven knowledge and experience in EU Labour Law
• Significant experience of Trade Unions in a demanding environment
• PC Literate
• Fluent in English (Speaking and Writing)
