To provide a full generalist HR administrative function to the HR Manager and relevant business units/departments.

Duties & Responsibilities
General Administration

Provide administrative support by capturing, scanning and uploading all HR/IR related documents onto HR system (warnings, attendance registers etc.)
Assistance with overflow of employment contracts and other HR administration
Provide advice and assistance to line manager on staff recruitment
Conduct reference and verification checks on possible candidates
Conduct exit interviews (FM and ASM level)
Confirmation of employment
Administer and facilitate all IOD claims
Administration of Name Tags and ID cards (CGC Card orders)
Take photos of new staff and prepare access letters
Place uniform orders
Conduct monthly Merchandiser assessments and distribute talent pool sheet to Divisional Managers

Performance Management and e-learning

Provide advice and assistance to managers and staff relating to PM process and system
Assist with organization of staff training sessions
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12

Relevant HR-related tertiary qualification advantageous

2+ years Human Resources administrative experience


Good English written and verbal communication skills
Numerically competent
Attention to detail
Good time management
MS Office literate
High levels of professionalism & confidentiality
Knowledge of Employment Legislation including OHSA, EEA, BCEA & LRA advantageous
