Staff Connection is seeking a skilled Handyman who has great carpentry and electrical skills.

POSITION: HANDYMAN – GENERAL

Main Responsibilities:

To maintain all areas on complex to a set agreed standard.
To carry out planned preventative maintenance on complex.
To carry out all related duties determined by the supervisor.
To ensure that requests for installations are safely, promptly and efficiently carried out.
Have a strong knowledge electrical, plumbing & carpentry and accountability for his actions
Requirements and Qualifications:

Suited to a person who is standards orientated, is tidy, methodical and well organized

Must be able to work by himself and take responsibility
Excellent communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Code 08 drivers license an advantage
Minimum Std.10 (Grade 12) or equivalent technical experience
Must have basic knowledge on the field working.
3 years experience in Maintenance environment
Fluent in English
Proof of Experience required
Other Areas of Responsibility:

Providing assistance in other fields within the general scope of maintenance and repairs, wherever required.
Please note that shift work is a non-negotiable requirement
Reporting to: Maintenance Manager and Assistant Maintenance Manager
