To increase client base by selling financial services products to clients to achieve Nedbank's strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities


Build client and stakeholder relationships through regular contact and �I know You� strategy. Resolve client queries by following business procedure and keeping client informed. Educate clients on the product offering by presenting them with the relevant information. Listen and attend to client needs, keeping them in the loop and demonstrating an understanding of the client's business and industry. Identify effective financial solutions, using product knowledge, providing the client with proactive solutions. Take responsibility for providing regular feedback. Contribute to a culture of transformation by participating in Nedbank culture building initiatives, business strategy, and CSI. Identify, recommend and support opportunities to enhance processes, systems and policies. Deliver and achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets by following Business Unit sales strategy. Finalise client transactions by ensuring client signature for final product accepted. Improve performance based on management guidance and feedback. Collaborate to obtain referrals from existing clients and branch staff. Market financial products to new and existing clients and stakeholders by identifying client needs and matching product to the need. Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impact on role. Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and values, leading by example. Identify and attend training courses and career progression for self. Ensure all learning activities are completed, experience practiced and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames. Ensure correct information is provided to stakeholders by sharing knowledge with team. Plan and implement effective prospecting activities by identifying and responding to business opportunities. Meet product application requirements by providing all required documentation. Ensure all client details are correctly captured at application stage. Schedule work according to manager action plan to meet business objectives. Follow Business Unit requirements to complete verification procedure for all applications. Report daily sales statistics. Improve quality of work using managerial recommendations. Ensure effective administration and controls in branch portfolio by checking securities and complying with FICA and FAIS requirements. Reduce fraudulent transactions by reporting suspicious transactions to the relevant department. Vet accuracy and quality of applications and security documentation within sales portfolio to meet technical company standards and practices. Provide input to client financial analysis, make recommendations to credit, monitor security documentation and confirm bank queries and codes.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Preferred Qualification

Diploma or Degree in Finance or FAIS related qualification with Regulatory Examination 1.
