IT Helpdesk Technician required to join a growing team, based in Kloof. Position answers to the operations manager. Salary negotiable based on skillset and experience.

Position involves handling first-line support calls and providing telephonic and remote support to end users.

Hours: 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday.

Option to work from 7AM to 4PM.

Required to be on call between 5PM and 9PM one week in every four.

Skillsets required:

Microsoft Desktop OS - Windows XP, 7, 8, 10
MacOS, iOS, and Android
Microsoft Server OS - Windows Svr 2008, 2012, 2016
Microsoft Exchange - all versions
Microsoft Office - all versions
Microsoft Office 365 administration
CPanel administration
Basic understanding of virtualisation principles
Understanding of the OSI model
Working knowledge of MikroTik Router OS advantageous
Working knowledge of VMware vSphere advantageous
Working knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V advantageous
Working knowledge of IP PBX platforms advantageous

Must be able to communicate effectively, in English.
Must be able to follow procedure, and document accordingly.
