Job description
Titan Digital, a leading digital marketing company with head offices in Perth, Sydney and Cape Town, is looking for a fun-loving, energetic, driven, diligent and motivated person to head up the content marketing department and take control of all content marketing requirements in the Cape Town office!

Key responsibilities:
Develop the department to align with business goals

Ensure client copy is error-free and written in the correct tone
Create content products
Develop campaigns and content strategies for clients
Manage the freelance writer network
Action briefs and commission work to freelancers
Create content for but not limited to: websites, blogs, emails, landing pages, banner ads and e-books
Understand each clients’ brand and represent it accordingly
Provide internal/external communication strategies and support
Drive the quality standard of content throughout the company
Communicate with other departments to provide an integrated solution for clients
Brief and direct designers when required
Core expectations:
Operate the department from a workflow and output perspective
Uphold a high standard of quality across content the department produces
Take responsibility for turnaround times and deadlines
Adhere to and enforce department processes
Execute mandates provided by executive management


Requirements
Six+ years of experience in an agency environment
Writing diploma or certificate
Experience in a copywriting or journalism role
Three+ years’ experience managing a team
Advantageous:
Degree in language, media or communications
Personal skills/attributes:
Ability to work within a team
Friendly manner

Meticulous
Responsible
Organisational skills
