Key Performance Areas

Assist the Company Secretary to draft relevant frameworks, methodologies and policies around compliance management
Maintain and update all such documents
Manage and maintain declaration of gifts register across the group
Knowledge of best practices in compliance management
Understand the objectives for compliance management & the role of stakeholders in the compliance management process
Ability to assess risks & evaluate controls
Compliance recording, monitoring & reviewing
Report writing
Ability to read, understand and interpret legislation, by-laws, codes of conduct etc.
Ability to read, understand and interpret court judgments handed down dealing with legislative provisions relevant to the various group entities.
Ability to assess and comment on business processes in the context of meeting legislative compliance requirements per group entity.
Required Minimum Education / Training

LLB degree.
Compliance Institute Board Exams.
Member of the Compliance Institute.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages i.e. Excel; word etc
Required Minimum Work Experience

3years’ experience as a Compliance Officer.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R20,000.00 to R28,000.00 /month

Compliance Officer: 3 years (Preferred)
Compliance Management: 3 years (Preferred)
Legislation: 1 year (Preferred)
Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
