Join Parmalat at our Ladismith Plant as a Machine Attendant in our Cheese Factory with the main responsibility of producing bulk cheese that adheres to food safety and quality requirements. Required Skills

- Grade 10 or equivalent
- 1 year experience in food related industry
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans
- Willingness to work shifts, long hours, overtime, weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work in stressful environment


Duties & Responsibilities
- Total involvement in both cheddar and gouda process
- Manage gouda in brine and cheese press
- De moulding gouda
- Washing cheese moulds
- Hand wash vertical press and other equipment
- Apply good housekeeping rules, cleaning all equipment after production
- Assist in other departments, when operationally required
- Participation in various business initiatives: 20 Keys, FSSC 22 000, NOSA
