Doves is looking for organised,energetic and dedicated candidate to fill the role of a Funeral Arranging Officer.
Responsible for all funeral administrative arrangements and organisation
Customer Service: professional handling of client, accuracy of information given
Funeral Arranging: accurate data capturing, professional handling of client
Funeral Administration: accuracy of data input, effective consolidation of all data
Debtor management: follow up on funeral accounts; feedback given to relevant parties on state of debtors
Online procurement system: ordering supplies from preferred supplier only; consolidates all the necessary paperwork; send through to Accounts Payable timeously.
Grade 12 or NQF equivalent
Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel)
Knowledge of the funeral industry would be advantageous
Valid driver’s licence (PDP) - 3-4 years old (should you not be in possession of a valid driver’s license you will not be shortlisted or considered for the position).
Good communication in English and another official South African language Willingness to do standby duty and after hour removals.
