Our client a international giant with in the Food Manufacturing sector is looking for a qualified and experienced individual specialising in Raw material food technology.
Owning and implementing the global material quality management standard on site. This is a risk management process based on scientific research that assures delivered raw materials meet specified quality, food safety and legal requirements at each stage from source to consumption. This role forms a critical stage of the Food Quality Management process which involves a detailed risk assessment and analysis of the chemical, microbiological and physical hazards for all raw materials used on site.
•BSc Degree Food Science or B.Sc. in related fields. (NON NEGOTIABLE)
•Food Science / Food Technology education and a minimum of two years practical experience in a Food Quality / Technical function.
•Understanding of HACCP / Quality Management Systems and auditing techniques
•Good verbal and written communication skills in English
•Excellent at research skills
•Excellent report writing
•Communication above average (verbal and written)
•Self Starter and Independent worker
•Excellent conflict handling skills
•Excellent knowledge of Allergens, Metals, Micro organisms and Food Safety Hazards
