Job Description:

Maintain merchandising standards on an on-going basis
Restock merchandise as needed to ensure maximum sales
Regulate stock in store room, and stock received from suppliers
Ensure stock rotation takes place to prevent stock reaching expiration date
Manage front shop stock in store room
Understand rate of sale to determine over or under stock
Ensure stock counts are carried out accurately and timeously
Assist in reducing out-of-stocks
Compare ZMOR stock counts with physical counts
Draw of ZMOR for suppliers and warehouse
Ensure daily price update labels are actioned, and that labels and pricing are correct at all times
Manage daily physical upkeep of store and merchandise displays

Provide guidance and training to sales associates to ensure maximum sales and customer service
Ensure relevant human resource documents are in order and submitted on time
Ensure performance management policies and procedures are adhered to
Uphold merchandising policy and procedure standards
Provide friendly and helpful service to all customers
Manage customer compliments and complaints
Ensure all customer stock queries are addressed effectively
Ensure proper floor coverage of staff
Ensure promotional displays and signage are set up and removed timeously
Ensure store floor and storeroom are tidied prior to leaving the store at night
Competencies:

Essential:

Knowledge of merchandising standard and FMCG experience
Able to give and follow through with instructions
Lead by example
Working with planograms
Strong command of the English language
Effective engagement with customers, management, staff, head office and representatives
Provide constant feedback to Store Manager
Time management
Profile
Essential:

Grade 12 / Matric
At least 2 years'
Computer literate - MS Office
Willing and able to work retail hours
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R8,000.00 to R10,000.00 /month

Experience:

customers service: 2 years (Preferred)
Supervisory: 2 years (Preferred)
