Fixed Asset Administrator (Sasolburg)

Senmin is looking to recruit a Fixed Asset Administrator to work in Sasolburg.

Senmin supplies a range of chemicals used in the beneficiation of minerals. Most of its products are utilised in the froth flotation and tailings treatment segments of the mining industry in South Africa, Southern Africa and further afield. In addition, Senmin provides customers with value-adding expertise in the handling and dosage of its products.


Duties & Responsibilities Cost controlling of all approved capital projects in progress.
Maintaining the fixed asset register and reconciliations to trial balance.
Ensuring timely and accurate capitalization of completed projects.
Prepare fixed assets notes for management reporting in Cognos.
Prepare a depreciation budget.
Cashbook payments, capturing payments in Syspro and cashbook reconciliations.
Journalising of prepayments, other general ledger expenses and reconciliation to the trail balance.
Assist in the preparation of the monthly IT14SD report.

Qualifications & Experience Grade 12.
BCom – Accounting or NQF equivalent.
