This well-established Trading company is looking to appoint an experienced Export Administrator and Data Capturer to support the export team. You will previously have had experience in exports, and also have ADVANCED EXCEL and at least four to five years of relevant experience. This position is readily accessible from the Station and also from Mycity buses on the Foreshore.
Your core functions are outlined below but may include ad hoc duties from time to time.
Gathering and capturing of export related data on the internal software system
Processing and submitting export documentation
Tracking of shipments and shipping documentation
Attending to and resolving documentation related queries
Meeting strict and changing deadlines
All administrative tasks within the scope of the export logistics function within the company
Skills required by the successful candidate will be:
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, while working under pressure with changing deadlines.
Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively, be proactive and use own initiative, but still able to work with a team.
Proactive, hands-on and the ability to use initiative
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced MS Excel skills required including spreadsheets.
