Company Profile Ciro Full Service Coffee is the leading retail and food services supplier of premium ground coffee and beverage solutions to the out of home consumption market, and as such seeks top calibre skills in this particular niche market.

A challenging position exists for an Events Supervisor to join the dynamic Ciro family. The successful incumbent should have at least 2 years' experience in coordinating events (in the Coffee or Hospitality industry). The position will be based in the Bryanston and reporting directly to the National Training Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
Support events successfully.
Provide daily feedback on events planned and executed.
Assist with loading stock signed out and signed back for events.
Host events successfully and professionally.
Arrive on time, and dressed professionally for every event for continued business.
Greet, host and serve all guests at events professionally.
Keep a vibey, light and coffee passionate atmosphere at all times
Understand product being served, origin and roasting profile.
Once a customer enters the coffee bar area, you must turn and make eye contact and greet the customer by requesting the drinks order. Never turn back to customer.

Support the events team to always have all equipment ready for service, events bakkie packed with all equipment necessary for a successful event.
Ensure that all beverages are ALWAYS served according to the specified method for each drink.
Ensure that equipment cleaned on a weekly basis.
Smoothie and juice machines are cleaned every day at the end of the day
Keep the guest counter free of dirty cups/cloths/trays/sugar sachets etc at all times.
Wipe the guest counter.
Keep the beverage preparation counter clean at all times.
Ensure the bar area is free of large waste items (paper/sugar sachets/stirrers)

Product and Equipment control:
Ensure that sufficient product is available in the Events Coffee Bar at all time

Additional Driver Function:
This function will be filled Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to various facilities to assist with Driving duties.
This function is supportive to the Events role;
Delivering correct stock in respect of quantity, to the correct customer as per the invoice
Follow Route according to the load sheet
Excellent product handling
Goods to be delivered in good condition
Complete daily trip sheet
Debrief all stock returns, uplifts, diesel card and petrol slips & vehicle check sheets & trolleys at training administrator daily
Upon loading your allocated vehicle for the day, the driver must check stock loaded in his vehicle – correct stock & correct quantity as per invoice, no damaged stock.

General maintenance of pool car:
Vehicle to be cleaned inside and out
Loading vehicle – upon signing the load sheet you will be accountable for the stock in your vehicle
Obey all traffic regulations and company rules, drivers will be held responsible for traffic fines due to driver error
During working hours, you might be required by management to perform other reasonable duties within you capabilities
Maintain a good company image and at all times be well-presented and friendly
Willing to work extended hours and sleep out within reason and by agreement
Ability to handle stressful situations
Adhering to company rules and safety, health and environmental regulations
Report any accidents to management immediately

Experience Required 2 years' experience in an Events Supervisor function
Minimum Qualifications Required Grade 12 / Matric essential
Knowledge Required Skilled in Barista skills and milk texturisation to support event function
Must have a Driver’s License.
