JOB DESCRIPTION
Greet all customers when passing the retail area
Order stock
Create purchase orders
Ensure orders/stock/products are received speedily and efficiently in the mornings
Follow-up on back orders and provide feedback on order progress to store manager
Receipt and dispatch stock
Ensure all products are signed in and out have been receipted and dispatched according to the correct documentation
Ensure all products that leave the store are labelled, binned and signed out by checker
Pick the correct products off the shelves timeously and in accordance to picking slip
Deal with product returns from customer
Book products repairs and follow up on product repairs
Provide feedback on repairs progress to store manager and customer if required
Ensure returns & repairs are labelled and packed accordingly to paperwork
Handle any breakages
Ensure that all electrical products are tested in store e.g. lamps
Ensure dispatch bins are packed efficiently according to dispatch bays
Label products, binns and shelves correctly
Load and locate all products and binns details correctly on the system
Manage inventory and investigate why an item is not in stock when it shows stock on the system and vice versa
Pack all parcels with care & mark the applicable products as βfragileβ
Pack the correct products into branded packaging
Complete stock take
Replenish stock levels on shelves with low quantities
Aisle Maintenance
Overall store maintenance and housekeeping (ensure store neat and tidy at all times)
Complete all daily stock sheets and perform effective stock management
Update success tracker on a daily basis
Learn about other department heads & managers to direct customers in the right direction
Assist internal sales when necessary/store very busy
Manage store Driver on a daily basis
EXPERIENCE
1-3 years work related experience in similar position
QUALIFICATIONS
Senior certificate (NQF4) or the equivalent
Certificate/Diploma/Degree would be advantageous
