Driver
Purpose:

To drive and operate a vehicle or heavy-duty vehicle, load and off-load stock.

Responsibilities:

Effectively driving and operating vehicle or heavy duty vehicle and move assets to designated place.
Ensure that loading and offloading is done in line with Granor Passi policy and procedure and that vehicles are road worthy, not overloaded and safe to operate.
Perform stock related tasks including picking, loading & off-loading and stock rotation.
Ensure that all paperwork and administration is in place in accordance with Granor Passi procedures.
Ensure punctual deliveries of product
Treat customers with respect and dignity
Requirements:

Matric
Have a valid heavy duty driver’s (Code 14) license and PDP
3 years’ previous experience as a driver in a food production environment required
Technical aptitude - can fault find and repair break downs
Ability to follow clear instructions
Must be systematic, neat, methodical and have attention to detail
Must be able to work under extreme pressure
Ability to work without supervision
Must be customer focused
Must able to lead and apply proper discipline
Ability to action tasks and complete administrative duties
Have no criminal record
Good communication & time management skills
