Our client in the fruit export industry is looking for a new debtor’s clerk to join their team.


The perfect candidate will have great attention to detail, be organized, diligent, disciplined. Will be able to work with urgency and responsiveness, enjoys routine work and work well within a team.

Fruit industry experience would be valuable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·

Accurate processing of invoices and credit notes

·

Maintain routine and accurate bookkeeping

·

Keep record of payments made and payments due

·

Determine which accounts are overdue

·

Prepare and distribute accurate debtor statements on a weekly basis

·

Follow up on outstanding balances vie email and telephone

·

Handling of all account queries

·

Debtors reporting

Minimum Requirements:

·

Matric, with relevant tertiary qualification

·

Similar experience of minimum 2 years

·

Strong communication skills, need to be effective and professional

·

Computer skills a necessity, especially Microsoft Excel

·

Good administration skills

Starting date: Immediate

Salary: Market Related.
