Creditors Clerk – Support Office Cape Town

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Reconciliation of Creditors Accounts. Accurate and timeous payments of suppliers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Verification of supplier invoices
Reconciliation of suppliers and accounts and preparation of payment batches
Processing of supplier remittances
Loading of supplier payments and ensuring payments are captured correctly on system
QPD accruals spreadsheet to be completed at month end
Reconciliation of creditors recons
Credit applications

Investigating variances and resolving queries with suppliers
Ad hoc duties as requested by finance Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric
Basic Accounting qualification or similar would be an advantage
4 years’ experience in a similar role
