We're looking to appoint a Creditors Clerk, within the finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a hyper-growth, fast-paced and fun company.

General Purpose

Daily management of suppliers and local merchants.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Perform detailed reconciliation of all supplier invoices presented for payment ensuring the that they are delivered and valid supplier invoices.
Review pricing, enquire goods team to change price when differing from supplier price and obtain a credit note where differences in pricing is noted.
Subsequently, process the supplier invoice on to the accounting package being used applying correct vat and tax principles.
Manually prepare local creditor’s reconciliation and send to them when requested.
Manage changes in banking details and authorise the change.
Review the refund to a customer and if valid effect the refund and ensure that this is claimed back from the relevant merchant.

Trace customer payment that falls outside usual payment method.
Redeem voucher and reconcile all vouchers for international deals and calculate the amount for them to be submitted for payment.
Enquire goods supplier for any undelivered items and obtain necessary credit note notes.
Daily review of PAYU transactions and submit cancel order request if the transaction is deemed fraud.
Send proof of payment to creditors after each payment.
Digital filing and allocation of supplier invoices and corresponding proof of payment to each batch on Google Drive.
Prepare invoice for customer when asked for tax purpose.
Ask goods partner for refund on return shipping fee, if goods are faulty.
Education and Experience

Pastel Evolution knowledge desirable but not a must.
General accounting exposure.
Fresh out of varsity/nearing completion of a relevant degree.
