Description
To effectively support a panel of Absa Financial Advisers and Planners by partnering with them to maintain their existing portfolio while meeting new business targets through relationship management and specialist support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with the Financial Advisers and support structures from Absa Life.
Conducting training and presentations on products, systems and processes.
Drive, monitor and manage individual adviser performance by tracking daily sales
activities and provide the necessary support to Advisers in closing the outstanding deals.
Keep abreast with market and industry trends and provide relevant feedback to Regional Manager on opportunities, threats and business risk based on the above analysis.
Use tools and processes and make available the relevant information on products.
Provide support on all the Advisers within your panel to promote any AIFA or Absa life tools to ensure the advisory framework is adhered too.
Understand all compliance requirements and and adhere to Compliance Officer requests in order to address non-compliance if identified.
Accredited role.
Execute on daily duties in accordance to regulatory requirements including the FAIS Act and the RDR regulations.
Support product house representatives with campaigns, product / benefit launches,
and conferences as needed and agreed with your Regional Manager.
Handle the first line of escalations where it relates to business process failures and
queries that have not been resolved by the product house call centres.
Adhere to an agreed calling patterns and activities to increase achievement of sales
targets.

Essential/Basic Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
National Diploma in Finance or equivalent NQF level 5 qualification
Three (3) yearsβ experience as a Sales Support Consultant within the Financial Services industry is preferred.
Life insurance related work experience, knowledge and tertiary background is
preferred.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet
No criminal record
