DAYBREAK FARMS requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to be appointed in the above mentioned vacant position.

THE ROLE – This role requires one to possess commercial experience and business acumen, with good market knowledge (including customers, industry, players, and products) to achieve targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES



Logistic

· Responsible for the development of supply chain infrastructure including distribution centers and transport

· Responsible for achieving improvements in the operating efficiency and cost base of the supply chain

· Development of the supply chain strategy

· Study and make recommendations on product development

· Ensure representation in market through branding efforts also internal branding



Retail

· Ensure all new shops meet the required return on sales

· Translate the strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required target growth in sales and profit

· Identify and optimize promotional opportunities ensuring these coordinated with wider mind promotions and campaigns



Warehouse

· Oversee all delivery and warehouse functions such as receiving ,distribution ,inventory ,returns and customer relations

· Direct warehousing and delivery activities for the organization

· Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities and deliveries with activities of other functions such as sales, customer service, demand planning, retail and logistics



Sales and Marketing

· Analyses market trends and recommend marketing strategies

· Plan sales program from statistics, trends and promotions

· Ensure correct production mix

· Weekly sales plans

· Realization of new markets

. Contribute to the company’s Strategic Business Plan

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED



Degree in Supply Chain Management, Sales and Marketing, Logistics and Warehouse or an equivalent qualification – Essential.
Practical experience of more than 5 years in commercial management – Essential.
Practical experience of 5 years in Sales and marketing management – Essential.
MBA will be an added advantage
Strong project management skills
Understanding of funding model is essential
